Ground Beef Casserole is budget friendly, and kid approved!
16 ounces penne pasta 1 pound ground beef 1 large onion 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper 2 cloves minced garlic 24 ounces marinara sauce 15 ounce
Prepare the pasta according to package instructions. In large skillet, add ground beef, onions, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Cook until browned. Add garlic, stir in marinara and tomato sauce, then transfer to a bowl with pasta. Stir.
Pour pasta mixture into the prepared 9×13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is lightly golden, about 15 minutes.
