Fantastic feature packed VHF radio from iCom.
The best features on this radio are the remote face with large high contrast display, manual tuning and manual squelch for each channel. The radio can also be pre-programmed with the standard off road channels as well. But by far our favorite feature on this radio is the Crosstalk Repeat Function!
Crosstalk Repeat
Simply turn on the repeat function, tune your hand held radio into the 2nd channel on your iCom and as long as you are in range of your truck, your hand held is now a full 50 watts! When you key up on your handheld, the iCom will send/receive on the main channel using the full power of the radio. (hand held not included, handheld must have the ability to send/receive 375-550MHz frequency’s)

The IC-2730A provides VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF simultaneous receive capability as well as VHF/UHF receive. Main dials, volume, squelch knobs and primal buttons are symmetrically laid out for each band.

Easy-to-See large white backlight LCD
The display size of the IC-2730A is 1.5 times larger its predecessor, the IC-2720H. Frequency display and channel names are larger, and the white backlight provides higher contrast.
