Exchange Policy

1.0 APPLICABILITY

1.1 Generally. This Ford Raptor Shock(s) Core Return Policy (“Policy”) is the controlling document over transactions that occur when you, the customer (or “Buyer”) purchases an exchange Ford Raptor Shock(s) – i.e., you return used Ford Raptor Shock(s) (“Exchange Core”) in exchange for a rebuilt Ford Raptor Shock(s).

1.2 Core Deposits. At the commencement of a Ford Raptor Shock(s) exchange transaction, Buyer will receive from Forged Offroad LLC(“Seller”) an itemized invoice showing an entry labeled “Deposit/Core Charge.” Under this Policy, the term “Deposit/Core Charge” shall be treated as a security deposit which encourages the timely return of Exchange Cores and NOT the difference between the retail value of the Ford Raptor Shock(s) and the exchange price listed on Seller’s invoice.

1.2.1 Forfeiture for Non-delivery of Acceptable Core. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, BUYER’S FAILURE TO DELIVER AN ACCEPTABLE CORE WILL RESULT IN BUYER’S FORFEITURE OF ANY CLAIM TO THE CORE DEPOSIT AND THE CORE SHOCKS AND THE SELLER SHALL RETAIN THE CORE DEPOSIT AS FAIR COMPENSATION FOR BUSINESS LOST. 

1.2.2 Forfeiture for Non-deliver of Any Core. NON-DELIVERY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF Ford RAPTOR SHOCK(S) CORES WILL RESULT IN BUYER’S FORFEITURE OF ANY CLAIM TO THE CORE DEPOSIT AND THE CORE SHOCKS AND THE SELLER SHALL RETAIN THE CORE DEPOSIT AS FAIR COMPENSATION FOR BUSINESS LOST.

1.2.3 Seller retains right to deduct from the Deposit/Core Charge up to the full Deposit/Core Charge amount to replace any damaged parts on Ford Raptor Shock(s) cores. See Section 2.3 of this Policy

1.2.4 Seller will return any core deposit, partial or otherwise, to Buyer consistent with terms set forth in this Section 1.0 within thirty (30) business days of the Core Inspection Period. See Section 2.4 of this Policy.

 

2.0 ACCEPTABLE CORES

2.1 Definition. In order to qualify as an Acceptable Core, Buyer’s Exchange Core must:

2.1.1 be the same model and assembly number as the rebuilt Ford Raptor Shock(s) shipped by Seller, unless a prior written exception is granted by the Seller;

2.1.2 be received within thirty (30) days of the rebuilt Ford Raptor Shock(s) receipt date;

2.1.3 be complete and not disassembled since failure;

2.1.4 if applicable, shipped in the same shipping box with molded foam as the rebuilt Ford Raptor Shock(s) shipped from Seller.

2.2 Unacceptable Cores. The following conditions are unacceptable and may result in full or partial forfeiture of Buyer’s core deposit:

2.2.1 Exchange Cores contaminated with rust to the point that they cannot be disassembled.

2.2.2 Exchange Cores that are NOT the same model and assembly number as the rebuilt Ford Raptor Shock(s).

Note: The above list is not exhaustive and Seller reserves the right to declare an Exchange Core unacceptable for other reasons, not listed.

2.3 Partial Core Credit. At Sellers sole discretion, a percentage of the core value may be charged for missing or damaged parts as specified in this Policy.

2.4 Core Inspection Period. Seller agrees to inspect Buyer’s Exchange Core within thirty (30) business days of receipt (“Core Inspection Period”).

3.0 SHIPPING

3.1 Unless otherwise expressed in writing, Seller will provide shipping tags on all core return shipments.

3.2 All Exchange Cores must be reasonably clean and packed in a suitable container. See Sub-section 2.1.4 of this Policy.

3.3 All Exchange Cores must ship to:

4.0 EXCHANGE RETURN CORES

4.1 Exchange Cores are the property of the Seller and as such it is mandatory that they be returned. If cores are not returned, seller has the sole discretion to pursue legal action for violation of this policy.  

        4.2 Buyer has NO legal or otherwise expressed right to the retain raptor shock core(s) after receiving exchange raptor shocks from the seller. 

4.2 It is up to the sole discretion of Seller to determine whether or not the Buyer’s Exchange Cores(returns) require refinishing. 

4.3 If refinishing is required, Seller retains right to deduct from the Deposit/Core Charge.

5.0 EXCHANGE RETURNS(CUSTOMER RETURN UNINSTALLED/UNUSED)

5.1 Buyer retains right to return uninstalled Exchange Shock(s) 

5.1.1 Buyer will return uninstalled and unused Exchange Shock(s) in the same condition as Seller sent.

5.2 Shipping is non-refundable.

5.3 Buyer will pay a 15% restocking fee on any returned orders.

5.4 Forfeiture for Non-deliver of Any Uninstalled/Unused Exchange Shock(s). NON-DELIVERY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF EXCHANGE Ford Raptor Shock(s) WILL RESULT IN BUYER’S FORFEITURE OF ANY CLAIM TO THE CORE DEPOSIT AND THE CORE SHOCKS AND THE SELLER SHALL RETAIN THE CORE DEPOSIT AS FAIR COMPENSATION FOR BUSINESS LOST.

5.5 If cores and/or Uninstalled/Unused Exchange Shock(s) are not returned, Seller has the sole discretion to pursue legal action for violation of this policy.

        5.6 Uninstalled/Unused shocks must be returned by the buyer and received by seller before a refund will be processed. 

6.0 CANCELLATION OF AN EXCHANGE SHOCK(S) ORDER

6.1 Buyer retains the right to cancel an exchange order up to when the order ships from Seller.

6.2 After an exchange order ships from Seller, a 15% restock fee will be deducted from buyers deposit.

6.3 Buyer will pay a 8% cancellation fee if cancelled prior to Exchange Shock(s) shipping. 

6.4 Refunds on cancelled orders can take up to (30) business days to be processed. 

6.5 Shipping charges are non-refundable on cancelled orders once shipment is scanned by the shipping company.

7.0 EXCHANGE ORDERS FOR CANADA

7.1 Buyer pays ALL import and export fee’s to ship exchange shock(s) to Canada.

7.2 If Canadian buyers does not pay import and export fee’s they will be deducted from the core deposit.

8.0 INSTALLATION 

8.1 Installation should be conducted by a professional shop or certified SVT technician at a Ford dealership

8.2 Seller is not responsible for any damages caused by improper installation
